AUDIOLIVROS DE ORSON WELLS GRÁTIS

Over at the Internet Archive, you can find George Orwell’s classic, 1984, available as a free audio book. As you’ll see, the recording is professionally done. You can download the full zip file here. Or alternatively you can get the individual mp3 files, or stream them, from this page.

On a more permanent basis, you can find Orwell’s 1949 work housed in our Free Audio Book Collection along with lots of other free texts. Here, you will also find Orwell’s other major classic, Animal Farm.

TRÁFEGO DE INTERNET CRESCERÁ 4 X ATÉ 2015

Segundo previsões da Cisco, até 2015, o tráfego da internet vai crescer 4 vezes, atingindo um número formidável: 966 exabytes (um exabyte equivale a um bilhão de gigabytes) por ano. A mesma empresa calcula que, nos próximos quatro anos, aproximadamente 15bilhões de dispositivos estarão conectados à rede.

Este crescimento do tráfego IP global é impulsionado por quatros fatores:

- proliferação de aparelhos que possibilitam a conexão à web como tablets, celulares, TVs e notebooks

- aumento de usuários

- aumento da velocidade da banda larga

- aumento da quantidade de vídeos que circulam na internet
