The Syracuse Post-Standard reports that 4 high schools in central New York state will be testing the Kindle this fall. Three schools in Onondaga County and another school in Madison County will be sharing a grant from the Central New York Community Foundation. This grant is going be used to pay for 84 Kindles, teacher training, and other expenses of the 8-Ounce Backpack Project.
